Following the MSAD33's determination to proceed with requesting an Emergency Project to not only replace our lost Dr. Levesque Elementary School, but to also consolidate into one PreK-12 comprehensive school to serve the students of MSAD33 for years, a letter was drafted to the State Board of Education on August 16, 2022.

A response from the State Board did not come until later that fall, November 23, 2022, when State Board Chair, Fern Desjardins replied that "no action was taken on [our] request to be placed on the next Major Capital School Construction Program Final Priority List."

As a follow up to our request, on February 3, 2023 the board then requested to meet with the State Board to learn more about how it can be placed on a construction list as an Emergency Project.

Finally, on March 6, 2023, Chair Fern Desjardins invited MSAD33 to a meeting of the State Board's School Construction Committee to answer questions that we had pertaining to Emergency Projects or anything else about school construction.
