The proposed priority list for the 2024-25 Rating Cycle of the Major Capital School Construction Program was presented during the State Board of Education's July 9 meeting. The MSAD33 application for a K-12 consolidated school scored 133.61 points and was placed second out of 95 projects that were scored.
The next steps in this process are not available at this time; however, if the proposed list does get accepted by the state board, MSAD33's project will likely get approved. (During the last 2 Rating Cycles, 16 projects were approved for construction in the 2010-11 cycle, and 9 projects were approved for construction in the 2017-18 cycle.)
This is fantastic news for MSAD33 and the communities of Frenchville and St. Agatha! We will keep the community updated as we learn more.
